Kirkpatrick announces 2024 re-election bid

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Marilyn Kirkpatrick announced Monday she will run this year for re-election to the Clark County Commission.

It would be Kirkpatrick’s third four-year term representing District B, which covers a large section of the north valley. She was appointed to the commission in 2015, and won elections in 2016 and 2020. Kirkpatrick, a Democrat, defeated Republican Kevin Williams in 2020 — 54.2% of the vote to Williams’ 43.2%.

“This is a critical moment for Clark County, and I’m running for re-election to make sure we continue our progress and make this community even stronger,” Kirkpatrick said.
