If you have been laid off, terminated from your job or if your employment status ahs changed, please do not wait to file for unemployment:

Expanded hours for filing online unemployment claims http://ui.nv.gov/css.html. Work-search requirement & 7-day wait period for approved unemployment benefits to be waived, allowing those submitting claims to receive benefits as soon as possible.

 

File for unemployment if you are no longer receiving any pay from your employer, this includes sick leave and vacation time. You can also file if your hours have been drastically reduced and are receiving less than $469 gross earning per week.

You will need the following:

Names, addresses, phone number, and dates of where you have worked for your last 2 jobs. (Will need corporate names)

Your Social Security Number

If you are not a citizen of the United States, you MUST have your A-number and expiration date.
